Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine to support clinical needs and scholarly activity. The role emphasizes patient care, teaching fellows and residents, and involvement in digital pathology initiatives.

The successful candidate will be an MD or DO with an unrestricted license, eligible for Assistant Professor, and experienced in clinical practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required
• Unrestricted physician license required
• Credentialing by Medical Staff Services
• Complete pre-employment steps
• Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility
• Prior clinical practice experience
• Board certification preferred
• Experience in Digital Pathology preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective patient care at appropriate level and specialty.
• Teach fellows, residents, medical students, and observers through case-based learning.
• Contribute to clinical service and establish regional recognition.
• Participate in divisional digital pathology initiatives.
• Engage in divisional/departmental education, CE, literature reviews, seminars.
• Maintain familiarity with departmental policies and standards.
• Pursue scholarly activities including publications and reviews.
