Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, seeks an academic anatomic pathologist at the assistant, associate, or full professor level to join one of the largest pediatric pathology and laboratory medicine departments in the U.S.

The successful candidate will join a team of pathologists and researchers, provide diagnostic sign-out, contribute to resident education, and participate in the department's expanding digital pathology program.

Qualifications

• Board certification in anatomic pathology is required.
• Certification or eligibility in pediatric pathology is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and diagnostic sign-out for pediatric surgical pathology cases.
• Contribute to education of residents, fellows and students through an active learning curriculum.
• Engage in outreach and consultative services and participate in departmental mentorship programs.
• Contribute to the program’s research initiatives and participate in an ACGME-accredited pediatric pathology fellowship.
