Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks an academic anatomic pathologist at the level of assistant, associate, or full professor to join its large pediatric pathology and laboratory medicine program.

The candidate will join an experienced team and contribute to clinical care, education, and research with opportunities in Neuropathology, Autopsy, Perinatal Pathology, or other surgical pathology areas.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in anatomic pathology with eligibility for pediatric pathology is preferred.
• Active involvement in education, research, or clinical service is expected.
• Commitment to building an affiliated academic mission across clinical care, teaching and scholarship.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic services in pediatric pathology and autopsy pathology.
• Participate in resident and fellowship education and mentorship.
• Engage in clinical, translational, or basic research as part of the department.
• Collaborate with IGM and COG for molecular pathology projects and consultations.
