Job summary

Seattle Children’s in Seattle, WA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PACU. This 0.9 FTE position involves two 10-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts weekly with some call.

PACU or ICU experience preferred; requires graduate of an accredited nursing program, WA RN license and BLS. The nurse will deliver family‑centered care, participate in CPI and safety initiatives, and may supervise other team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Pediatric health care setting experience may be required for specific departments.
• Current Washington State RN license; additional state licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and the health care team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs and others as defined by policy.
• Support CPI, value-based behaviors, patient safety and IDEA initiatives.
