Qualifications

• BSN from an approved program; two years PACU or equivalent critical care experience preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in DC (DC license) or eligible for reciprocity; CPR and PALS certifications required.
• CPRN/CPR and PALS are required; CPAN/CPN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients postoperatively, focusing on airway management and analgesia.
• Lead and participate in Magnet-related initiatives and professional practice improvements.
• Maintain regulatory requirements and participate in ongoing professional development and education.
• Demonstrate safety, effective handoffs, and evidence-based practice in daily patient care.
• Provide care that adheres to quality benchmarks and contributes to patient and family satisfaction.
