Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree ADN required; BSN preferred and must complete within 5 years.
• Licensed RN in MO or KS; multi-state license; RN Compact required upon hire
• Life Support certifications required upon hire
• 1-2 years experience or on-the-job training acceptable

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to provide safe, high quality, age-appropriate care for patients undergoing Level 0 to 6 procedures.
• Meets educational and informational needs of patient and family; advocates for their needs.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable, efficient, family-centered perioperative environment.
• Uses current research to expand knowledge and improve nursing care quality
