Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred for hires after Sep 1, 2013.
• 1–2 years experience or on-the-job training if no experience.
• MO/KS RN licensure required upon hire (multistate acceptable).
• Lifesaving/Health-Care life support certifications required upon hire.
• BSN must be completed within 5 years for nurses hired after Sep 1, 2013.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide safe and age-appropriate care for pediatric patients undergoing various procedures.
• Meets the educational and informational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered perioperative environment.
