Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a Program Coordinator – Outreach to support the Psychiatric Access Program and rural healthcare professionals across Kansas. You will assist with program operations, communications, and outreach activities, ensuring timely delivery of project goals.

The role requires coordination experience, collaboration with partners, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail. In person work across Kansas with travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of project coordination experience.
• Experience supporting federal grant-funded projects or similar programs.
• Experience with outreach, recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of project activities across multiple initiatives.
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and track follow-ups.
• Coordinate communications among team members, partners, and organizations.
• Monitor activities and identify barriers to implementation.
• Maintain project documentation per grant and contract requirements.
• Support reports, presentations, and updates for leadership and partners.
• Facilitate outreach, recruitment, and engagement with rural clinics.
