Job summary

NAPA Center in Irvine, CA is hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for infants through adolescents. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance motor function and daily living skills through evidence-based approaches.

The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, caregiver training, thorough documentation, and collaboration with families and school teams. California licensure and pediatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science or Physical Therapy degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate physical therapy experience preferred, in pediatrics when possible.
• Current registration with the appropriate licensing board.
• DOJ and FBI background clearance.
• TB test clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat motor, functional, and sensory impairments in pediatric populations.
• Use standardized tools to determine treatment plans and outcomes.
• Apply neurodevelopmental, sensory integration, motor learning, and biomechanical approaches.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals and conditions.
• Provide hands-on therapy, gait training, and stretching to improve motor function.
• Document evaluations, progress, school reports, IEPs, and other notes in the EHR.
• Train caregivers in assistive devices and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
