Job summary

NAPA Center seeks an Occupational Therapist to work with infants, children, and adolescents in a multidisciplinary setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat motor, cognitive, and sensory challenges to improve daily living skills and participation.

The role requires an OT degree, pediatric experience, and active licensing. You will collaborate with families and school teams, document progress, and develop individualized treatment plans while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include completion of an Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited University.
• Strong clinical experience - at least 2 years post graduate OT experience preferred, preferably in a pediatric setting.
• Background clearance by the DOJ and FBI.
• Initial TB test clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Current license with the appropriate licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat motor, functional, sensory impairments in pediatric populations with documentation.
• Assess child development to refer families to other disciplines when appropriate.
• Create tailored treatment plans addressing client limitations and goals.
• Apply a range of therapy techniques including neurodevelopmental and sensory integration approaches.
• Provide patient/caregiver training on assistive devices and home exercise programs.
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in interdisciplinary team care.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and professional ethics.
