Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days as required by AHA.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) per IDFPR.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe body mechanics and assists with patient transfers as needed.
• Designs an individualized plan of care aligning goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge.
• Educates patients, families, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine OT diagnoses and outcomes of care.
• Performs examinations with reliable methods based on history and screening results.
• Documents evaluations and plans of care per department policy.
• Communicates progress with referring providers and adjusts plans as needed.
