Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for our Pediatrics: O/P Acute Therapy program. This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek, Monday–Friday, with a $38.20–$57.30 per hour pay range and a $5,000 sign-on for full-time hire.

The position emphasizes outpatient pediatric therapy, documentation, and collaborative care with the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include evaluating referrals, planning and implementing care, and coordinating discharge

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and active state license.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state where you work; BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Pediatrics experience in Outpatient settings preferred.
• Proficient computer and documentation skills; strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Interprets referrals and evaluates patient abilities affecting daily living.
• Establishes and implements plan of care; fabricates assistive devices as needed.
• Monitors outcomes; adjusts treatment plan; communicates with physicians.
• Completes documentation per policy; manages scheduling and billing.
• Maintains safety and infection control; supports patient safety initiatives.
• May supervise OT assistants or rehab extenders per policy.
