Qualifications

BLS within 30 days from hire (AHA).
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) – IDFPR (Illinois).
Bachelor's Degree: Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

Perform patient transfers with assistance and ensure safe body mechanics.
Design and adjust a plan of care with goals, treatment, and discharge planning.
Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and staff using effective methods.
Evaluate clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
Perform examinations using reliable methods and determine need for therapy services.
Screen patients to determine effectiveness and need for further therapy.
Supervise support personnel and provide regular feedback.
Document evaluations and plans of care per policy, including goals and progress.
Complete annual education per DNV Hip and Knee requirements.
Communicate with referring providers on progress and recommendations.
