Cortica is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for our Carlsbad, CA center. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, play-centered therapy for children, within Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat sensory, sensorimotor, motor, feeding, and developmental issues, in collaboration with families and a broader care team. In-person clinic and telehealth services are offered.

Qualificações

• Must hold a current and unrestrictive OT license in state of practice.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field is required.
• Safety training to be completed within first 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Establish occupational therapy goals using dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
• Collaborate with transdisciplinary team to create integrative treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and co-treat therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
• Contribute to autism diagnostic process by providing clinical insights and standardized assessments (e.g., ADOS).
• Deliver therapeutic services in-person at the clinic and via telehealth as appropriate.
• Complete documentation within designated time frames.
• Provide neurodiversity-affirming interventions that are play-based and goal-oriented.
• Facilitate functional, child-led experiences to achieve individualized goals.
