Job summary

Cortica, a growing multidisciplinary healthcare company, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for our Carlsbad center in California. You will assess, diagnose, and treat sensory integration, sensorimotor, motor, feeding, and developmental disorders in children, using Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.

You will collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, BCBAs, physicians, and other specialists to create integrated treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestrictive license for Occupational Therapy in California.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Ability to complete required safety training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement occupational therapy goals using dynamic and standardized assessments.
• Collaborate with transdisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and co-treat therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
• Contribute to autism diagnostic process with clinical insight and standardized assessments.
• Deliver therapy in-person and via telehealth as appropriate.
• Complete documentation within designated time frames.
• Use neurodiversity affirming, play-based and goal-directed interventions.
• Facilitate functional, child-led experiences to meet personalized goals.
