Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a part-time role in New Jersey. The therapist will evaluate neonates through adolescents, develop and implement therapy plans, and document progress while coordinating with medical staff.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, NJ license or eligibility, and pediatric rehabilitation experience preferred; NDT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE-accredited).
• Current New Jersey OT license or eligibility required.
• Pediatric Rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills for interactions with patients and families.
• NDT certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats neonate to adolescent patients with neurodevelopmental/orthopedic conditions.
• Develops and implements therapy programs reflecting age and development.
• Documents findings and communicates with Medical Staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Participates in clinical education programs and departmental program development.
• Practices in accordance with the professional Code of Ethics.
