Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Jersey is seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a part-time role (20 hours/week). The position requires an evening shift until 7:00 PM and focuses on evaluating and treating neonate to adolescent patients with neurodevelopmental and orthopedic needs.

The therapist will develop age-appropriate therapy plans, document progress, and collaborate with Medical Staff and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current New Jersey state license and registration in Occupational Therapy or eligibility.
• Experience in pediatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong analytic, judgment, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates neonate to adolescent patients to determine function and develops treatment programs.
• Documents findings and communicates with medical staff and other health professionals.
• Participates in clinical education and departmental program development.
• Upholds professional Code of Ethics.
