MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver one-on-one therapy in homes, daycares, or schools, with flexible Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN schedules. • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience supervising COTAs preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy per physician-approved plans of care.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavior, daily living activities.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate families on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
