MedCare Pediatric Group, LP in Texas is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide home-based occupational therapy services to children in their homes, daycares, and schools. You will perform evaluations, develop goals, and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with families and physicians.

The role offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN), sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities across Greater Houston and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by anticipated start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
