Job summary

NAPA Center in Hawthorne, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with infants, toddlers, children and adolescents. The role focuses on developing fine and gross motor skills, play, social skills and self-care within a multidisciplinary team, delivering individualized treatment plans and progress documentation.

You will assess, treat, and document motor and sensory impairments using varied frames of reference, collaborate with families and clinicians, and ensure safe evidence-based

Qualifications

• OT degree from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate pediatric OT experience preferred.
• Background clearance (DOJ/FBI) required.
• TB test clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Current OT license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric clients with motor and sensory impairments.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on client age, abilities, and goals.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and IEP-related reports in the EHR system.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate families/caregivers on home exercise programs and therapy techniques.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with policies and licensing requirements.
