Job summary

The Therapy Place NJ is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will meet with several patients daily, discuss their treatment needs, and craft customized, comprehensive therapy plans. You will coordinate with other doctors or health team members to arrange follow-up care and educate families on lifestyle changes.

Qualifications

Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to stay positive and compassionate with patients over time.

Responsibilities

Meet with patients from many backgrounds and discuss health concerns and therapy needs.
Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient.
Create a therapy plan specific to each patient to meet mobility goals.
Work with care team to provide follow-up care.
Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress.
