Job summary

KLA Industries in the Kansas City metro area seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a pediatric clinic serving children with autism spectrum disorder. The role offers 1:1 therapy, flexible hours, and a strong multidisciplinary team.

You will provide therapy to young children (ages 3–6), collaborate with other pediatric professionals, and document using OpenEMR, with growth opportunities as the clinic expands.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist. COTA also welcome.
• Interest in working with a pediatric population
• Comfortable working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for providing individualized, child-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy to children (ages 3–6).
• Work primarily with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions lasting 30–60 minutes.
• Complete evaluations, typically scheduled for approximately 90 minutes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric professionals.
• Complete documentation using OpenEMR.
• Manage daily caseload and schedule within clinic hours.
