Job summary

RISE Pediatric Therapies in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) as an independent contractor. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to provide therapy in clinic and home/community settings for children birth to 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active Arizona OT license in good standing is required.
• Experience in-home and/or clinical OT is preferred.
• Pediatric therapy experience is desirable.
• Must pass a background check and obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric OT evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide ongoing direct therapy services.
• Collaborate with families, physicians, schools, and other providers.
• Educate caregivers on strategies and home programming.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Deliver services that support a child’s participation and development.

Education

Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

Current Arizona Occupational Therapy license

In-home and/or clinical experience

Pediatric experience preferred

Background check and fingerprint clearance
