Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP in Rosenberg, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment for pediatric patients. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and document progress accurately.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration and ADLs.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and the interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Pay:

$60.00–$70.00 per hour
