Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP in League City, TX seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan and provide pediatric OT services, tailoring treatment plans to each child and collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

You will address fine motor, sensory processing, and ADL goals, monitor progress, and document outcomes, with a focus on family education and home program support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Pay:

$60.00–$70.00 per hour
