Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide one-on-one therapy in children's homes, daycares, and schools across the Greater Houston area. Flexible scheduling supports a healthy work-life balance, with options for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN.

You'll evaluate, develop goals, and deliver evidence-based OT services, educate families, and collaborate with medical teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by start date.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising COTAs preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care

Pay:

$60.00–$70.00 per hour
