Job summary

Children’s Therapy Center is seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist for the ESIT team serving Maple Valley, WA. The role emphasizes family-centered care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and culturally responsive coaching for caregivers to support development in diverse settings.

This full-time onsite position requires an OT degree, WA license, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must have or obtain an OT license in the State of Washington.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, required.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively using various oral, written, visual, and/or non-verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to conduct family-centered screenings and evaluations.
• Educate parents and caregivers on child development across cultures and communities.
• Provide caregivers with culturally relevant support in the home, environment or telehealth using a coaching model.
• Coach parents to support culturally relevant routines that promote child development.
• Collaborate with caregivers to develop and implement IFSP documents that support diverse identities.
• Develop strong relationships with caregivers and work with ESIT team to meet family needs.
