Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help young children, ages 2 to 6, develop motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills in a center-based early intervention setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team to integrate OT goals into Soar's ES DM-informed approach and engage families to support meaningful progress beyond therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required or licensure eligible.
• Current state licensure to practice OT is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate OT for children ages 2–6.
• Address fine and gross motor, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and clinicians.
• Integrate OT goals with Soar's ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, individualized therapy.
• Collaborate with families to set meaningful goals and practical strategies.
• Partner with RBTs and clinicians to reinforce OT goals throughout the day.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on data and clinical judgment.
