Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support children aged 2 to 6 in a center-based early intervention setting. You will help develop motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills while collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical team.

This role integrates the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and emphasizes individualized, data-driven care for children with autism, while partnering with families to translate goals into practical strategies for everyday life.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current OT license is required to practice.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills are important.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2 to 6.
• Develop interventions addressing fine and gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living.
• Conduct assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate OT goals into ES DM-informed early intervention approach.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, individualized treatment.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians to reinforce OT goals throughout the day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data and clinical judgment.
