Job summary

The Orthopedic Technician- Entry at Children's Hospital Colorado assists professional staff in caring for pediatric orthopedic patients in a hospital setting. You will learn to apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and other durable medical equipment while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with basic orthopedic patient care under supervision.
• Assist with casting, splinting, and DME application/removal.
• Room patients, schedule, and support clinic flow.
• Learn and perform duties following department protocols.
• Document training progress and participate in quality initiatives.
