Job summary

Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is seeking an Oral Surgery Assistant to join our pediatric dental team in Stockton. You will prepare treatment areas, assist during oral surgery procedures, and help ensure a positive, kid-friendly patient experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in dentistry with OS exposure, DA/RDA credentials, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years in Dentistry, with OS experience preferred.
• Must have DA Certificate.
• Current and active state certified RDA license preferred.
• OMSA certified preferred.
• ACLS Certified preferred.
• Positive demeanor and excellent patient-facing skills.
• Loves working with children and has strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment area for patient and ensure sterility.
• Prepare patient for surgery and seat them comfortably.
• Assist the doctor during treatment procedures.
• Assist in recovery and post-op instructions.
• Maintain infection control procedures and chart patient records.
• Take X-rays and assist in related lab tasks.
