Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is seeking an energetic Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team in California. The role supports the oral surgery team, prepares treatment areas, assists during procedures, and ensures patients receive excellent, child-friendly care with clear post-op instructions.

Qualified candidates have a DA certificate and 2+ years in an oral surgery setting; RDA/OMSA/ACLS credentials are a plus, and Dentrix experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in an oral surgery office.
• DA certificate required; active state certification preferred.
• RDA license and OMSA certification considered a plus.
• ACLS certification preferred; ability to work with children in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain professional appearance and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment area and patient for surgery.
• Assist the doctor during treatment procedures.
• Assist in patient recovery and post-op instructions.
• Perform dental infection control procedures and take x-rays.
• Document care in patient records and manage supplies.
• Hand off patient and ensure comfort at checkout; complete care calls.
