Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Pediatric Operating Room assignment in Illinois. The role requires scrubbing and circulating, with on-call availability and a 13-week contract in a pediatric hospital setting.

Shift is 3x12s from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with on-call nights and weekends. Active IL RN license and Nursys report are required; pediatric OR experience is preferred and candidates with under 2 years of experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required in hand.
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate.
• Pediatric OR experience preferred.
• Level 1 trauma experience not required for this position.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be accepted.
• Current Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Be able to scrub and circulate in Pediatric OR.
• On-call availability including nights and weekends (approximately one 12-hour on-call shift per week).
