Job summary

Shriners Children’s Chicago invites applications for a full-time Operating Room RN to join our pediatric surgical team. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, family-centered care to children in the OR and ensuring safe perioperative processes.

The position requires a BSN (or in progress), Illinois RN license, and at least 2 years of operating room experience; CNOR and scrub experience are highly preferred. Expect a balanced schedule with call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BSN degree (or in progress) required.
• Illinois RN license required.
• 2+ years operating room experience preferred; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Assist physicians and ensure continuity of care between the OR and patient care units.
• Participate in on-call schedule and maintain family-centered patient care.
