Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Endoscopy RN for a travel assignment in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This 13-week, 40-hour-per-week position operates on day shift (8 hours) within the Endoscopy unit, supporting physicians and the care team before, during, and after procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS, and is prepared to handle instrument decontamination, patient movement, and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Endoscopy nursing experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy Unit, supporting physicians and the medical team before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain decontamination and traceability records for endoscopes and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment in accordance with standards.
