Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking an RN for the Operating Room to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered surgical care. The OR supports a range of procedures in a modern 18-suite department, with strong emphasis on patient education and family interaction.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of acute care experience (or licensed military RN). Periop 101 or equivalent OR training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
• Periop 101 or validated OJT for the Operating room setting

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
