Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Certified Surgical Tech for the SJCH OR to prepare sterile supplies and support the surgical team during pediatric procedures. The role requires a CST credential, 1+ year of CST experience, and BLS/CPR certification.

Night shifts are included, with a 40-hour work week and a sign-on bonus for external hires. The CST will maintain supplies, assist with deliveries when needed, and ensure efficient OR operations under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
• At least one year of Certified Surgical Technologist experience is required.
• Current CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Scrub and circulate in the operating room as part of the team.
• Assist providers and nurses with intraoperative tasks and workflows.
