The Children’s Eye Center of El Paso is seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our pediatric optical team in El Paso, TX. This in-office, full-time role focuses on creating a welcoming first impression for patients and their families from the moment they walk in.

You will greet patients, handle check-in/out, verify insurance, collect payments, and support the optical showroom with basic administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical or optical front desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families with a warm, professional attitude
• Check patients in/out for optical appointments and assist with scheduling
• Collect payments and verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Maintain accurate patient and billing information in the EMR system
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Support the optical team with basic administrative and retail tasks
• Ensure the front desk and optical showroom remain clean, organized, and welcoming
