Job summary

The Children's Eye Center of El Paso is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to join our pediatric optical team in El Paso, TX. This in-office role is pivotal in creating a positive first impression for patients and families from the moment they walk in.

You will greet patients, check them in/out, collect payments, verify insurance, maintain EMR records, answer calls, and support the optical showroom with basic administrative tasks while contributing to a welcoming, family-friendly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical or optical front desk role preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills, especially with children and families
• Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification and EMR systems a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families with a warm, professional attitude
• Check patients in/out for optical appointments and assist with scheduling
• Collect payments and verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Maintain accurate patient and billing information in the EMR system
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Support the optical team with basic administrative and retail tasks
