Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Supervisor of Operational Services to oversee site-level operations in eastern Massachusetts. The role emphasizes staff supervision, budget awareness, and cross-functional collaboration to improve patient access and service quality.

Responsibilities include leading 5–15 staff, coordinating with physicians and HR, and ensuring adherence to operational policies while supporting organizational goals and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical practice experience, ambulatory care preferred.
• 1+ year in a lead or training role.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with electronic tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily clinical support operations within area of responsibility, ensuring access, service and cost standards are met.
• Operationalizes Service Line and organizational initiatives with managers for effective implementation.
• Communicates with physicians, nursing staff and other supervisors to enhance service line success.
• Monitors policies and ensures adequate staff coverage including back-up.
• Provides budget input and may supervise other areas as needed.
• Develops team leads and staff through training and development.
• Collaborates with HR on personnel policy communication and consistency.
