Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Springfield, PA and Abington, PA offices on site, linking clinical services with operations, staffing, and financial performance.

You will manage staff, drive profitability, ensure patient experience, and coordinate scheduling, training, and compliance across sites, with travel between offices and a bonus-eligible compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Healthcare managerial experience of 5+ years (pediatric experience preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of basic financial concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of strategies and tactics that affect urgent care productivity, office workflow, patient satisfaction, and volume growth.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: Oversee all staff through hiring, scheduling, and performance management. Address employee issues, promote positive morale, mentor staff.
• Financial performance: Drive site profitability via volume, productivity, expenditures, revenue collection, and bad debt. Manage banking, reconciliation, petty cash, and expense reporting.
• Patient care and satisfaction: Ensure high quality, efficient, and compassionate patient care. Monitor satisfaction metrics and implement improvements.
• Clinical training oversight: Ensure timely orientation, training and cross-training of CSS staff with preceptors.
• Staffing & scheduling: Create schedules, review staffing levels, coordinate coverage, and manage timekeeping and attendance.
• Marketing: Conduct at least 5 local touchpoints monthly with referral sources.
• Compliance & maintenance: Ensure OSHA/UCA compliance, maintain records, inspect facilities, manage inventory and repairs.
• Quality & safety: Resolve quality/safety concerns and document follow-ups.
• Revenue collection: Improve front desk performance, billing controls, and credentialing steps.
• Patient experience training and service recovery.
• Leadership: Inspire and coach employees toward strategic and operational goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
