Job summary

Children’s Hospital Colorado is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for the Anschutz campus to provide direct perioperative care in a busy pediatric surgical service. You will monitor the patient and operative environment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a BSN, RN licensure, and BLS/CPR with PALS/ACLS. Night shifts with on-call and holidays, relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• One year perioperative nursing experience or completion of perioperative course.
• Equivalency: ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years from start date.

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with health care team to assess, plan, and evaluate intraoperative patient care.
• Navigate and document in the EMR to support patient care.
• Prepare operating room for patient and procedure.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care using evidence-based practices.
