MU Health Care is seeking a confident Registered Nurse for the Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Unit at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. The role supports patient education, safety, and quality improvement in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

The position offers shifts Monday through Friday with four 10-hour shifts, on-site work, and a base pay range of $34.36-$51.02 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
• One (1) year of RN experience.

Responsabilités

• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing needs, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative patient needs, including discharge planning.
• Educates patients and significant others about their medications and maintains nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Works with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patient satisfaction and may perform unit/department duties as outlined in department documents.
