Job summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the PCT performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes.

MUSC CHS - Cancer Center - 10 seeks PCTs for 36 hours weekly, night shifts on 12-hour rotations, including weekends and holidays, with BLS requirements and healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PCT II may require an Associate or Bachelor's degree.
• Active enrollment in nursing school or healthcare-related field encouraged.
• CNA or CMA certification is an asset.
