The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a high-level professional, bridging physicians and nurses managing the Oncology program at Benioff Children’s Hospital, San Francisco. Responsibilities include independent management of inpatient pediatric oncology care and some ambulatory follow-up. The role requires meeting productivity expectations as set by the Division Chief, performing duties related to patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• CPNP-AC Certification to be considered

Nurse Practitioner I

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent RN experience in Pediatric BMT or Oncology
• Master’s Degree in Nursing with an Acute Care pediatric nurse practitioner specialization

Nurse Practitioner II

• Minimum of six (6) months of Nurse Practitioner experience in Pediatric BMT or Oncology

Certifications

• CPNP‐AC
• PALS
• BLS

Ideal Candidate

• Active CPNP-AC certification
• 2 years RN experience in PICU or Pediatric Acute Care OR 6 months NP experience in same setting
• Pediatric Oncology experience preferred
• Willing to work rotating day/night shifts
