Job summary

SouthCoast Health System in Savannah is seeking an Office Supervisor for the Pediatric Department. The role supports daily operations, staff supervision, patient flow, and clinical/clerical processes across multiple offices in Savannah, Richmond Hill, and Rincon.

The supervisor trains staff on policies, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners with the Pediatric Department Manager to meet service goals while maintaining quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Supervises clerical and clinical staff with day-to-day oversight.
• Experience in medical office management and customer service.
• Formal education in healthcare office management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pediatric Department Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, patient flow, scheduling, billing, and medical records.
• Train office staff on policies and procedures and ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Oversee staffing, selection, orientation, scheduling, training, discipline, and performance issues.
• Manage payroll records, vacations, sick leave, and overtime tracking.
• Maintain professional relationships with providers, staff, and patients.
• Ensure supplies are ordered, stocked, and within budget; manage invoices and purchases.
• Attend meetings, participate in committees, and engage in professional development.
