Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• KY State Licensure for Occupational Therapy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills.
• Assess ability to perform occupational tasks and design the plan of care.
• Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Document progress and modify the plan of care as needed; seek consultation as necessary.
• Educate patient and family/caregiver about deficits and care options.
• Assist with discharge planning and advise on adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Supervise and delegate to certified OT assistants and therapy technicians as per licensing laws.
