Job summary

Cortica is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our Carlsbad center in California. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver play-centered, evidence-based therapy for children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, therapy sessions (in-clinic and via telehealth), and documentation within designated timeframes. You will collaborate with SLPs, BCBAs, physicians, and other specialists to create integrated

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and unrestrictive license for Occupational Therapy in CA.
• Master’s degree in related field.
• Safety training within the first 90 days of employment.
• $2,000 continuing education stipend.

Responsibilities

• Establish OT treatment goals using dynamic and standardized assessment tools in line with Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.
• Collaborate with transdisciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
• Provide individual, group, and co-treat therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
• Contribute to autism diagnostic processes by providing clinical insight and administering standardized assessments (e.g. ADOS).
• Provide in-person clinic and telehealth therapy services as clinically appropriate.
• Accurately complete documentation within Cortica’s required time frames.
• Deliver neurodiversity affirming, play-based and goal-based interventions.
• Facilitate functional, child-led experiences to achieve individualized goals.
