As a Pediatric Outpatient Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat children in an outpatient setting and partner with families to foster independence in daily routines.

You will collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech-language clinicians to create practical goals and support children’s participation in school and community

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT experience, or a strong pediatric clinical internship within a multidisciplinary pediatric setting.
• Current Ohio OT license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Use play-based interventions to build functional skills for daily routines, school participation, and independence.
• Coach families and caregivers to support carry-over at home and in the community.
• Collaborate, consult, and plan with multidisciplinary team members.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner consistent with department and agency standards.
• Attend supervision, departmental, and agency meetings.
• Provide supervision to volunteers and students as assigned.
• Maintain licensure and build pediatric expertise through continuing education.
• Serve on therapy department and agency committees as needed.
