Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join the Outpatient Rehabilitation: Pediatrics team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Miller. This 15-hour-per-week role focuses on pediatric OT services, evaluations, and home or school visits as needed, with documented progress and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in OT, current state licensure, CPR certification every two years, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State with current licensure.
• CPR Certification every two years.
• Valid applicable state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized tests such as manual muscle testing and goniometry.
• Conduct evaluations with a multidisciplinary team and summarize findings.
• Plan intervention strategies and communicate with families about child development.
• Provide OT treatment including neuro-developmental and sensory motor therapy.
• Document goals and progress and participate in IFSP as needed.
• Attend meetings and assist with quality assurance and tool updates.
